Playing in a band requires a completely different skill set than practicing solo. Here’s what we cover every week:
- 🥁 How to Sync & Lock In: Learn how guitarists and keyboardists stay on the beat with the drummer and bass player so the band sounds tight, not messy.
- 🎼 Practical Band Theory: Understand song structures, cues, dynamic drops, and how to read/communicate chord charts on the fly.
- 🎛️ Stage & Gear Mixing: Learn how to set your amp volumes, EQ your tone so you don’t drown out others, and use stage monitors properly.
- 🎤 Communication & Jamming: Master non-verbal stage cues, counting in songs, and transitioning smoothly between verses, choruses, and solos.

All students in our Monday Night Band Program get priority spots to perform live at GC Music Academy Student Concerts & Showcases. Bring your friends and family to watch you rock out with your bandmates on a real stage with professional sound and lights!
How to Join
- Pick Your Instrument: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys, or Vocals.
- Bring Your Basic Skills: As long as you know your basic chords or beats, our band coaches will guide you through the rest.
