Jim Dunlop MXR M69P Prime Distortion | Distortion Guitar Effect Pedal

MXR M69P Prime Distortion

If you crave the classic growl and bite of hard-clipping vintage stompboxes, look no further than the MXR Prime Distortion. It’s packed with rich warmth and clear articulation—even when you crank up the gain to the high heavens of rock ’n’ roll. The simple three-knob interface offers an incredibly versatile range of tones that can be dialed in with ease. The Output knob controls the effect’s volume level, the Tone knob shapes its EQ, and the Distortion sets the intensity to taste. You won’t be fussing over the knobs trying to find a great sound. Each control is highly responsive, allowing minor adjustments to significantly change the character of the output signal—from smooth, mellow grit to fierce, fiery saturation and everything in between.

When you’re dialed and ready, you’ll immediately notice that the MXR Prime Distortion’s amp-like sensitivity deftly responds to the nuances of your attack and any adjustments you make to your guitar’s tone and volume knobs. And thanks to a low-noise circuit design, your searing leads and crunchy riffs will come through with all their bite and attitude intact.
