GHS Boomers 7-String / 8-String Electric Guitar Strings | Nickel Plated Steel | Round Core (Various Gauge)

GHS Boomers 7-String / 8-String Electric Guitar Strings | Nickel Plated Steel | Round Core (Various Gauge)

Since 1975, GHS Guitar Boomers have been THE POWER STRING, and continue to set the standard for musicians in nearly every genre of music. Nickel-plated steel wound over a round core brings a bright tone with a powerful attack, that lasts for an extended period of time.

Modern guitarists are tuning lower and lower, adding more strings for a broader tonal spectrum. Designed with the help of many “extended range” guitarists and featuring tapered ends on our larger (post .070) gauges, our 7-String / 8-String Boomers sets bring what you love about our 6 string sets into lower, uncharted territory!

Nitro-Pack singles for fresh strings every time

GHS's Nitro-Packs use a revolutionary packaging method to ensure each one of your guitar strings is brand-new and corrosion free when you open the pack. Each string is individually housed in a nitrogen-sealed packet that eliminates any oxygen from around the metal. This sterile environment protects the string from any contaminant and corrosive, and the tear-proof packets have a transparent side for help identifying each string before having to expose them to oxygen. All of this goes into making sure that when you put a set of GHS strings on your guitar, you're getting the freshest and most clear-sounding strings possible.
